Grove Boats SA won a Prize at the "Climate Award" of Zurich held in Lausanne on Belmont November 15.
Through its "Climate Award" the Zurich redistributes the proceed of the carbon tax towards sustainable and environmentally friendly projects.
Specifically, Zurich recognizes the best projects that contribute to lower CO2 emissions or to a change in this direction. 38 projects were submitted and Grove Boats SA was honored to receive a "Special Prize" for its solar and hybrid boats propelled by electric motors. Not only Grove Boats' solar boats use the sun as main source of energy but they produce no CO2 emissions nor noise nor fumes and are in that respect extremly environmentally friendly.
